Fitness street is for everyone — including you!

You’ve never seen a fitness vacation paradise quite like this little slice of heaven here in Phuket Thailand until you’ve come to Soi Taied — or as I like to call it — Fitness Street!

And assuming that someone you know has told you about this place, it’s quite difficult explaining this place to anyone that has never been here before.

If you only have 3 minutes of spare time and want the quick summary — check out my website here where I summarise this little slice of…

After producing over 144 videos on the typical “day in the life” on Fitness street, I am convinced this place will change your life.

I’ve personally met dozens of people that have visited Fitness street after watching my video series and share with me incredible transformational stories — not just physical — but in other areas of their life too.

If you only have 3 minutes of spare time and want the quick summary — check out my website here where I summarise this little slice of heaven in Phuket, Thailand.

This is a short story of my 4 month journey of preparing for my first men’s amateur fitness competition… and winning first place in two divisions!

I’ve written this short article to share my personal experience and “behind the scenes” as an ordinary guy of what it takes to get stage ready (i.e., shredded and half naked!), for hundreds of strangers to look at and a line of judges to critique.

Side Note: If you’d rather watch the video I made which accompanies this article, check it out below.

Before I discuss my journey to…

This is a short story of my fitness transformation journey of how I fought through the chaos of misinformation in fitness magazines and “bad genetics” to eventually go on to compete and win several amateur bodybuilding competitions.

I was sick and tired of being a skinny-fat guy.

I was sick of being sick with pneumonia. I was also tired of being told my genetics were the reason why I couldn’t build muscle. After all, I was just a normal guy wanting to get into shape to look and feel good.

Side note: If you’d rather watch…

When I first started my journey for bigger arms — in my late teenager years -my idea of a “ultimate arms workout” was focusing on endless bicep curls. I mean, I believed that toiling away at dumbbell curls in the gym would give the size I wanted to attract girls (like most teenage guys!)

For years I had small arms. I spent way too much time burning away at high repetition sets, with too much attention to biceps and little to no attention on triceps.

In this article, I’m going to share with you exactly what…

In this article, I’ll share the 6 biggest fitness mistakes I was making for over 10 years that stopped me from shedding fat, building muscle, and getting stronger.

When I was around 19 or 20, I signed up to my first ever gym membership.

Over the following 10 years, I wasted thousands of dollars on fad diets, bodybuilding magazines, supplements, health seminars, and dieting books.

I bought into a lot of dumb fitness ideas by “gurus” that kept me frustrated, out of shape, in a rut, out of pocket, and believing that my genetics were ruined.

I used to believe that creating a meal plan for weight loss was a horrendous experience of giving up your favourite food, never going to another restaurant, and only reserved for the strongest of willpower.

Years ago, I really struggled to get into shape and, like most people, believed that I had to “eat clean to get lean” — which meant buying expensive quinoa salads and protein balls, and became frustrated when I saw no weight loss progress!

My journey started with a gut that looked like this (cringe!)

In this article, I’m going to cut through the confusion that I went through as an ordinary guy trying to figure out the best beginner workout routine.

Over the years, I’ve tried many different types of training programs from bodybuilding magazines and other “gurus” — only to look the same and feeling more disheartened.

As I’ve since learned as an ordinary guy with ordinary genetics — which had gone on to compete in the World Titles as a natural fitness model competitor — there are only a few fundamentals to building an effective beginner workout routine.

In this article, I am going to show you how to execute a “body recomposition” by simultaneously losing fat and building muscle… saving you a ton of time and headaches in the gym.

Here is a summary of the “rules” to a successful body recomposition; without supplements or steroids.

  • You are a beginner with less than 6 to 12 months of proper weight lifting experience.
  • You maintain a small calorie deficit (a big deficit will mean faster fat loss but at the expense of building muscle!)
  • Keep your daily protein intake high (approx 0.8–1 g/lb of…
